In India, over 70% of the population earns a salary that is insufficient to cover monthly expenses. These individuals often turn to predatory loan options to bridge financial gaps, which traps them in a vicious cycle of debt. Haasyl was created to address this challenge by offering a solution that enables employees to access their earned wages when they need it, rather than waiting for the end of the month.

The creation of Haasyl presented several technical and logistical challenges, including:

Complex B2B Integrations: Haasyl had to integrate with a variety of HR platforms, both new and legacy systems, to access employee data.​

Creditworthiness Evaluation: To determine salary advance limits, the system needed access to users’ CIBIL scores, necessitating secure and accurate data handling.

Instant Money Disbursal: Partnerships with two Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), Apollo and Pinacle, were crucial for real-time salary disbursements.
